From a Mother’s Wish

After seventeen fulfilling years in the corporate world — building structure, precision, and success in the BFSI domain — I found myself stepping into a new chapter that redefined everything I knew about purpose: motherhood.

Becoming a mother changed my lens completely. It made me notice the little things — the feel of a fabric, the comfort of a stitch, the warmth of a colour — especially when it came to dressing my children. No matter how much I searched, something always felt missing. The clothes looked appealing on screen but arrived feeling synthetic, rough, and disconnected from what I wanted my babies to wear.

Somewhere between the joy of nurturing and the disappointment of every delivery, OneWish was born — a wish for something honest, something pure, something that truly felt like love.

 

At OneWish, we create slowly, intentionally, and with heart. Each piece is crafted using the finest natural fabrics — pure cottons, airy linens, premium denims, and organic muslins — materials that breathe, age beautifully, and feel as gentle as a mother’s touch. Our approach to fashion is simple yet rare today: we believe in slow fashion, where quality is never compromised for quantity, and luxury is defined by the time and care poured into every detail.

 

Each garment is designed to last beyond a season — to be cherished, handed down, and remembered. It’s clothing that tells a story, not just of craftsmanship, but of conscience. Because we believe that when something is made with love, it carries an energy that children can feel.

And as mothers, we know love is most meaningful when it’s shared. Through OneWish, we’ve pledged to give back to the Delhi Council for Child Welfare (DCCW) — a small way of supporting children beyond our own, and of completing the circle of care that inspired our beginning.
